TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - More information about Terre Haute native Morgan Johnson has been released by the “Find Morgan Johnson Coalition.” Here’s the information about Johnson from the coalition:

Morgan M. Johnson, 27, has been missing from his Plainfield home since May 18, 2011.

Morgan Johnson, a native of Terre Haute, Indiana, graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 2002, and is employed at Brightpoint in Plainfield, Indiana.

He is an avid tennis player, and is a member of the north side Indianapolis Gold’s Gym. Morgan is a devout member of St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church, is in the church choir and works actively in the youth prison ministry. Morgan suffers from a seizure disorder that is managed by his medicine regime.

Morgan was last seen leaving his residence at the Value Place Motel Extended Stay in Plainfield, Indiana, on the night of May 18, 2011. Friends and family assumed that he had traveled to his grandfather’s funeral in Washington D.C. After his absence from the funeral was noted, and repeated attempts to contact him were unsuccessful, his disappearance was reported to the Plainfield Police Department.

Ann Johnson Smith, mother of Morgan, appeals “I miss Morgan so much. I believe he is alive and well and ask everyone’s assistance by keeping a watchful eye out for him and his car. Please report anything you know about Morgan to the police.”

Friends and colleagues have established a Facebook page entitled “Find Morgan Johnson” which has over one-thousand members. In addition, to the organized web page, a group of interested Indianapolis and Terre Haute residents, have established a coalition, also named “Find Morgan Johnson Coalition.”

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Morgan Johnson, 27, has been missing since May 18th. He was staying at an Extended Stay Motel in Plainfield, Indiana.

His mysterious disappearance has been enough to get people from Terre Haute out and ready to move.

Members of the community met at the Vigo County Courthouse.. all of them were compelled to find him, even if they`ve never met him.

"With Morgan being a Terre Haute native and his mother still being here and her having nowhere to go from here. I`m a mom and if one of my children were missing, I would hope anybody would be doing the exact same thing that I am," Gloria Jones who helped organize the event said.

They hung flyers and spoke with anyone who would listen.

Police are looking for a white 1995 Pontiac Grand Am that he may have been driving.

Morgan Johnson suffers from a seizure disorder and his mother says he may be disoriented by not taking his medicine.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Terre Haute mom is searching for her son who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Ann Smith last spoke to her son on the phone on May 18th.

Morgan Johnson had been living and working in Plainfield, Indiana for several months.

Security video at Value Place (a hotel) in Plainfield shows Smith leaving just before midnight on May 18th.

“[He was] just going out, not for an extended stay. And he hasn`t been seen or heard from since,” Plainfield Police Detective Joe Aldridge said.

Ann thinks he may have been going out to meet with some friends.

"Quarter to twelve when everyone else had to go to work on Thursday,” Ann Smith said. “So that`s my only thought.”

And she thinks her son may have been upset about a recent death in the family.

"He had just found out about his grandfather`s death,” Ann explained. "He was mulling it over. He was distressed about that."

Since then, she and her family have done all they could to spread the word.

"[We’ve] just been putting fliers out,” Ann said. “That`s basically what we`re doing. And making phone calls."

A Facebook group about the search for Morgan has more than 300 members.

Ann and her family have made phone calls to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and shelters.

"I don`t know anything more to do,” she said.

Plainfield police are investigating the case they call suspicious.

"No one goes this long without talking to someone," Detective Aldridge said.

Morgan Johnson is on regular medication, and police don`t believe he`s had that since he went missing.

They also don’t necessarily believe Morgan is in any danger.

"We don`t suspect foul play, but we will not rule it out,"Detective Aldridge said.  "There`s a lot of suspicious circumstances."

For Ann, the focus is staying on the search for Morgan.

"I try to stay positive," Ann said through tears.  "I just believe God that some kind of way, everything`s alright."

Plainfield Police are searching for Morgan Johnson`s car.  Its a white 1995 Pontiac Grand Am.

SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana State Police report the 8-year-old girl who disappeared during dinner Sunday has been found safe.

Sullivan City Police say Ashlee Sanagaio and her father were eating dinner in their home in the 300 block of West Beech Street around 7 p.m. Her father told police he left the room for a minute, and when he went back in, the girl was gone.

Police haven’t confirmed where the girl was found but sources tell 24-Hour News 8 she was found nearby, debunking reports she may have left the state.
